Canada Updated Inadmissibility and International Experience Class Fees

  • Effective December 1, 2025, Canada has increased several inadmissibility‑related application fees and the International Experience Canada program fee 

Immigration Application Fees  

Canada announced that multiple immigration application fees were adjusted on December 1, 2025. The changes affect inadmissibility applications, restoration of status requests, and the International Experience Canada program. 

Inadmissibility‑Related Applications 

  • Authorization to return to Canada: increased from $479.75 to $492.50 
  • Temporary resident permit: increased from $239.75 to $246.25 
  • Inadmissible on grounds of criminality: increased from $239.75 to $246.25 
  • Inadmissible on grounds of serious criminality: increased from $1,199.00 to $1,231.00 

Restoration of Status Applications 

  • Visitor: increased from $239.75 to $246.25 
  • Worker: increased from $239.75 to $246.25 
  • Worker (restore status + new work permit): increased from $394.75 to $401.25 
  • Student: increased from $239.75 to $246.25 
  • Student (restore status + new study permit): increased from $389.75 to $396.25 

International Experience Canada (IEC) 

  • IEC program fee: increased from $179.75 to $184.75
